Yesterday, I was pretty hype to hang with friends in Southwest Detroit to enjoy Cinco de Mayo. I planned on smashing Mexican fare all day and of course, margaritas. Well, none of this really happened the way that I planned or hoped. The area where the celebration took place waPeep The Rest!

After many years of being a huge fan of The Foreign Exchange, I finally had the opportunity to see them perform in Detroit with Sy Smith & Zo last night! My expectations for the show were quite high & they were exceeded. The crowd was super hype, the music was EVERY sPeep The Rest!
This weekend, I had the opportunity to see the Russian National Ballet perform Swan Lake downtown Detroit. After seeing Black Swan twice, this came just in time while I was hype. The performance was quite exciting & very graceful. Scenes two & four (The Lakeside) werPeep The Rest!
So the Roots concert with Chaka Khan, QTip & nem’ was absolutely off the chain! At points, I had to stop shooting so that I could dance my ass off. And I danced a lot! Actually I danced so much that I can still feel it now because my left ankle is killing me like never bePeep The Rest!
Last night I shot the Hennessy Artistry event in Detroit for my friends at Soul Bounce. The event was on the low low & not many people knew about it. Of the few people that knew about it, no one seemed to know the artist line up outside of The Roots, Q Tip & D Nice. FPeep The Rest!
