Everybody knows that I love course sea salt. It makes everything so much better, especially baked goods. It’s my secret little weapon.
Now… I’m on black lava Hawaiian sea salt.
Today I made a few deviled eggs with Montgomery cheddar, dill, smoked paprika, a pinch of black salt for a fun garnish. So good!
My next adventure will be to use the black salt in a fish dish that I have been wanting to try thanks to the Barefoot Contessa.
As a side note, I also love using pink Himalayan sea salt. It’s all about diversity!

Wow, grey? I need to find out more. There is a great spice market near me. I think I need to go to do a little more discovery.

Yes! I also love some diversity in my sea salt. I’ve only got pink and white salt right now though, maybe I should go search out some black salt. Is the flavor different?

Hey Jessica! I find it to be a little earthy and just a little saltier. Definitely worth experimenting with!
