Yesterday, I hung out downtown Detroit with a fellow Negro Nikonian & co-worker. Our goal was to shoot & talk all things Nikon etc.
The outing was great & we both captured some amazing images. Theo has been a photographer longer than I have I have been so I mos def learned a few things today.
After the sun went down, downtown looked great & really did not feel like the Detroit that I knew at all but itβs all good. Cities change!
Although the city looked great after dark, it got cold as hell & we had to cut the trip quick, fast & in a hurry. Luckily he had heated seats to fight the onset of ass frostbite.
Anyway, here are 2 of my favorite shots from today.
Stone Cold
Wind Blown Light III

sounds great and I am looking forward to seeing what you guys capture! One thing that I did not mention in my post is that we meet a Nikon field representative yesterday at a local camera shop. That was really fun and we got to play with the new Nikon D3, D300, 14-24mm lens, and the 24-70mm lens. It will be a long time before I would be able to afford any of those but at least I got to touch them.
Nikon owners are just cool people!!!
