Dear readers, friends, family & you:
I have been out of it for the last few weeks & have not been able to post anything due to my school, work & business schedule; the long & short of it is that I am burned out & ready for this semester to be fucking over so that I can have more time for self. There have been so many things that I needed to write about from a) more ghetto news, b)politics c) angry ass Mexicans about ready to tear the country up & d) the nasty ass toilets at my job & the nasty people who make them nasty (more on this later).
To relieve some end of semester stress, I hope to go to the Detroit Film Theater to see L’enfant (The Child) & have dinner @ Vicente’s Cuban Cuisine afterward; they have the best avocado salad but the Mojito’s are not that great.
Anyway, I did want to share with you all, my latest 2 web designs that recently went live from the Bygbaby.com Design Port; Let’s Face It Photography & Lasting Impressions Cleaning Company.
I am excited to see my portfolio start to take off in several directions with challenging & exciting projects. You can easily share in my growth by referring customers to me & collecting a 50 dollar referral bonus for any successfully completed web design. On a side note, the Design Port was listed in the April 2006 Ann Arbor Business Review as one of the newest members to the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce, I am super excited about that!!!
Here is a link to my latest promotional desktop wallpaper; once open, right click images & select “set as my background” then marvel @ your desktop. Please feel free to share.
Peace & thx for listening,

Greetings Brian aka Bygbaby!
Thank you sooo much for all your talent & all that you do to bring informative info to the blog community. I was really glad to log on today and find that you had posted an update as to what’s been going on with you. Hope the ankle is better! Also, did you complete the chattel slavery class @ the Shrine Bookstore? I hope that you enjoy dinner & the DFT movie @ the DIA, you deserve it! Great job on the sites as always!

Dear Anonymous (do I sound like Dear Abby or what)
Thanks so much for checking in. I really enjoy this platform as I see it as therapy for self & a great way to get your point across while informing others.
I completed the Chattel Slaver class 2 weeks ago & the message & information I learned in the class was very powerful. We are starting back up 04/28/06 @ the Shrine on Slavery & beyond for another 7 weeks with Dahia I. Shabaka. On June 03, 2006 (last day of class), we are planning to go the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati. I am in the process of coordinating this & it is sure to be exciting.
As I mentioned before, I went a few weeks back (did not post though, time got away) & it was wonderful, I had to suggest this trip to Dahia & the other class participants. I have pictures from my trip & will post them some!
I go see the surgeon tomorrow to see what my progress has been; I am really looking forward to hearing what he has to say. I am so sick of hopping around with this red shackle on my leg (LOL). One thing I will say is that I really appreciate my mobility & have a new found respect for those who have long term conditions with no hopes for a quick surgery. I have also really enjoyed the privilege to park in handicapped parking. it really makes a difference!
I hope to post more soon!!!!!!!!
Peace Anonymous,

I recently discovered your blog and enjoy/respect what you write. I recommended your site to several young readers as reading assignments, as I am a teacher. Do you consider your site rated “R”?
Just asking because some of the language is “raw” and at the same time the content can be very beneficial to teenagers without the cursing? Not trying to be rude, just want to know so I can decide if we will continue using your blog as one of our sources for debates???? Thoughts?

BB,
I love your blog too, and always say that I rely on it for all the news that’s not on NPR, but…
…since when did teachers start assigning blogs as reading material??? I hope you don’t censor yourself for anonymous teacher.

Dear Anonymous, Brunsli & you,
I write from the heart & my free flowing mind, which is why I am raw sometimes: (sometimes its good, sometimes its bad, but “when I am bad I am better”, in the word of Angela Winbush (I’ll Be Good: 1985)). Because my blog is fact (in most cases) based with research, infused with my comments/POV, things may/will/can get hot and or passionate.
Anonymous, mos def send you students my way, if they are of age, read my “Ghetto” disclaimer, & like to read unorganized thoughts. With said, I hope I can continue to have you & your students readership.
BWT, Anonymous,
I am picking up on some keywords & I think I know who you…. At least I hope I do, perhaps on of my Afro Shero’s
Floating between “L”iertature & “l”iterature; mos def floating between pg-13 & R
